Steve Wolfington, DPM
Dr. Steve Wolfington is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon who has proudly served Sheboygan County for more than 35 years. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and licensed to practice in Wisconsin, he provides comprehensive foot and ankle care with a commitment to personalized treatment, surgical excellence, and the latest advancements in podiatric medicine.
Dr. Wolfington earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor before receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University. He completed his surgical residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Waco, Texas and has continued to refine his expertise through advanced postgraduate training, including multiple cadaveric surgical courses at the Orthopedic Learning Center in Des Plaines, Illinois.
A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), Dr. Wolfington is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. He is affiliated with St. Nicholas Hospital and the Sheboygan Surgery Center and performs a wide range of minimally invasive procedures in his state-of-the-art in-office surgical suite.
Dr. Wolfington is proud to offer advanced technologies and treatment options that are not widely available in the area. He is the only podiatrist in Sheboygan County to provide laser treatment for fungal toenails, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, and in-office amniotic membrane therapies. By continually investing in advanced training and technology, he ensures his patients have access to innovative, evidence-based treatment options designed to help them heal, move comfortably, and return to the activities they enjoy.
Outside of the office, Dr. Wolfington enjoys spending time with his wife, Sheila, and cherishes every opportunity to visit their four children and six grandchildren.
